Mark Lister

Mark is Head of Research for Craigs Investment Partners Private Wealth division. His team is responsible for all of the asset allocation, strategy and portfolio recommendation decisions for Craigs clients.

Mark has been with the company since 2004. Over this period he has covered the property sector and smaller companies as an equity analyst, before moving into his current role, where his focus has moved to encompass economic analysis and investment strategy.

Before joining Craigs, Mark worked in the electricity sector for a number of years holding various analytical roles. He holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato with a major in Finance.

Mark has a regular presence in the business media, and spends time across the country speaking with business people, investors and clients.

Reg Montgomery

Reg’s current role at Craigs is in assisting the network to manage and report on a number of our large investment mandates. This includes helping to prepare investment proposals and presentations for client or trustee meetings. Reg also manages several large investment accounts. Prior to the establishment of Quay Street Asset Management, Reg was responsible for the management of the Craigs PIE funds.

Reg has over thirty years of investment experience, the last eight years at Craigs. Prior to joining Craigs, Reg worked at BNZ Investment Management for 13 years in a variety of roles from Research Analyst to Portfolio Manager. Reg holds a BCA from Victoria University and is a member of INFINZ (Institute of Finance Professionals NZ).

Robert Blews

Robert has been working in global equity and fixed income markets for the past 11 years.  In his current role as a senior research analyst he is responsible for global equities and is a member of the Craigs Investment Partners Investment committee. 

In his prior role at Rank Group Ltd he managed a US investment grade bond portfolio and worked as a senior research analyst helping to identify leveraged buyout opportunities in the US and Europe.  Before coming to New Zealand, Robert spent four years working as a Senior Research Analyst at Penn Capital Management in Philadelphia focusing on US small to midcap equities and high yield and distressed corporate bonds.

Robert has completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and is a CFA charterholder. 

Mohandeep Singh

Mohandeep Singh joined Craigs Investment Partners in 2010. He returned to the Private Wealth Research team as a Senior Research Analyst, specialising in Australasia, in September 2017 after a number of years with the Institutional Equities team. Mohandeep has a Bachelor of Business Analysis majoring in Economics and Marketing from the University of Waikato.

Peter Ball

Peter Ball joined Craigs Investment Partners in 2011.  He is a Research Analyst in the Private Wealth Research Department specialising in direct global equities, investment trusts and exchange traded funds. 

Prior to joining Craigs Investment Partners Peter worked at BDO Gisborne as Assistant to the Manager of their investment advisory department which provides specialised investment advice and portfolio management to retail and wholesale clients. 

Peter has a Bachelor of Management Studies majoring in accounting and finance from Waikato University. 

Roy Davidson

Roy joined Craigs Investment Partners in October 2014. His research primarily covers New Zealand and Australian equities.

Prior to joining Craigs, Roy worked at the Commerce Commission in Wellington in an analytical role focusing on the economic regulation of electricity networks.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln University and a Bachelor of Business Analysis (Honours) from the University of Waikato with majors in economics and accounting.

Grant relocated from South Africa and joined Craigs Investment Partners in 2009 as Senior Research Analyst covering the Utilities and Energy Sector. He was appointed as Head of Research at Craigs Investment Partners in 2010. Grant has been selected as finalist for the INFINZ Analyst of the year awards in 2013 and 2014 and was, for over a decade, one of South Africa's top-rated analysts in the Beverage, Luxury Goods and Tobacco sector. Grant is a qualified Civil Engineer and holds an MBA.

Adrian joined Craigs Investment Partners in October 2014. Prior to joining Craigs, he worked as an Executive Director in the Global Investment Research team at Goldman Sachs New Zealand for eight years. Previously, he has held roles in the Business Risk Services and Mergers and Acquisitions teams at Ernst & Young.

He received a number of IFINZ Sector Industry Awards during his time at Goldman Sachs including: 1st - Industrial/Manufacturing, 2nd - Financials/Investment, 3rd - Telecommunications and 3rd - Agriculture & Food in 2014.

Adrian holds a B.E. and B.Com from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Stephen Ridgewell joined Craigs Investment Partners in November 2012 as an Equity Research Analyst. Prior to joining Craigs, he worked as an Equities Research Analyst at Macquarie Securities for five years.

Joshua Dale

Joshua joined Craigs Investment Partners in June 2014. He has a Bachelor of Science (First class honours) in statistics and a Bachelor of Commerce in finance from the University of Auckland, and has also passed all three levels of the CFA program.

Joshua has previously worked for Goldman Sachs as an intern in the Investment Banking Division.
