Research
Why are some of the research reports locked?
Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) clients can access our Portfolio Strategy Reports and Investment Committee Reviews. Investment Administration (IAS), START and selected broking clients can access these reports after five business days.
Broking clients have access to all research except for the Portfolio Strategy and Investment Committee Reviews.
My Portfolios
Why can’t I load fixed interest, unlisted securities & cash into My Holdings?
Cash, Unlisted securities & Fixed Interest should be loaded in My Holdings screen through the asset class “Other”, you will not get a price feed for these entries.
I have bought more of the same security – why can’t I load this into My Holdings?
My Holdings can not accept duplicate entries, to accommodate both purchases you need to add them together and average out the costs.
I’m not sure of the correct code and / or exchange for my security
Click on Add Security, then click on Lookup. Add either the security code, name or the first few letters of either, select search by Code or Name and click on Search. Your search should return any security that meets your searched for criteria.
Help, I am being spammed by Alert emails
If you have opted to receive news Alerts you will receive an email for every single news item released. Some companies release multiple news items within a very short space of time – you will receive an email for each news release.
Why aren’t International Securities available in Watchlists and Alerts?
Only New Zealand & Australian securities are available on Watchlists or Alerts.
My Details - making changes
How do I change my password?
Once logged in as a client, click on My Details (top right hand corner of the page), this will bring up the Contact Details page. The change password facility can be found in the left hand menu.
How do I change any of my Contact Details?
Once logged in as a client, click on My Details (top right hand corner of the page), this will bring up the Contact Details page. Click on Change Contact details, scroll to the bottom of your adviser details page and send a message. This will be sent directly to your advisers assistant to action.

What browser do you recommend to take full advantage of the Craigs Investment Partners website?
We have made every effort to make this site usable for as many different web browsers as possible. Unfortunately, older browsers are not able to take advantage of current technology, and so the site does not look as 'designed' as it does in modern browsers, although all the information should be accessible.
We would encourage all users, if at all possible, to update their browser to the latest version - not only for this site, but to enhance your use of the web in general. Latest versions of commonly used browsers for your operating system may be downloaded from the following sites:

Can I adjust the size of the text within the pages?
Our website is built using relative font sizes, which means that if you want to see larger or smaller text, you can change the text size by clicking on the A A A buttons which are located on the right hand side of the main horizontal menu, at the top of each page. The default (or usual) setting is the middle of the three options provided so selecting the first option will decrease the text size and selecting the third option will increase the text size.
What screen resolution should I set for optimum viewing?
The quality of your viewing can be enhanced by ensuring that your screen resolution (Desktop Area) is set to 1024 x 768 pixels, displaying a minimum of 256 colours. The website has been designed with full liquidity to ensure that screens with a lesser resolution than 1024 x 768 can still view all information. The minimum recommended screen size is 800 x 600.
Do I need to enable Cookies to view the website?
In order for you to access the Craigs Investment Partners website, your browser must be set to enable cookies. Cookies allow Craigs Investment Partners to recognise your computer when you want to access a secure page.

Navigating the Website
How does the menu system work?
There are three main menus, which you can use to navigate this site. The top (horizontal menu) shows the main areas of the site. Selecting the top menu heading (e.g. ABOUT US, SERVICES etc) will give you an overview to the content in that area, from where you can select further information on that topic.
Once you have selected an area of interest all the content associated with that area is highlighted in the left hand (vertical) menu.
The bottom navigation menu provides links to commonly accessed items e.g. the Site Map and Contact Us.
'Related Pages’ are shown on the right of some content pages to jump to related web pages within the website.
How do I know where I am in the website?
The page that you are currently viewing is highlighted in the left hand menu. The page title is shown in the main banner heading of each page. The Breadcrumb Trail (shown directly underneath the main banner heading) provides you with a trail of where you are on the site with links back to previous pages and finally the home page.
How can I return to the Home Page?
The HOME icon is located at the beginning of the breadcrumb trail (which is shown directly underneath the main banner heading). Selecting the HOME icon will return you to the Home page (beginning) of the site.
I am not sure where on the site the information I am looking for is located. How can I best find it?
The SITE SEARCH function is located on the right hand side of every page. Simply enter a few words in the free text box, which describe what you are looking for; and the category of the search (e.g. SERVICE or DOCUMENT) and select the GO button.
A list of Search results will be displayed along with a short contextual description from which you can select the most appropriate page/(s) to visit.
Selecting the Site Map page (located in the bottom navigation menu) will display the overall content structure and layout of the site and is another way to help find information on the site.
Downloading & Printing Information
Some of the PDF’s on your website won’t open.
Try Right clicking on the PDF Link and select ‘Save Target As’. You should be able to open the PDF from your saved location.
How can I download documents from your website?
The documents in this site are created in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). This file format is used to store document with complex formatting that the authors would like to preserve (typically text in several columns and mixed with a number of graphics). Files in this format will have the PDF symbol next to them. To view and print PDF files, you must have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed: click the link below to download the software.

How can I print information from the website?
All of the pages of our website can be printed. We have set the site up so that if you are using a modern browser, when you print a page the printout will not include the menus or sidebars. Simply click on the print icon located in the right hand corner of the main body content of each page (below the top banner). If the page title and address don't appear on your printout, you can set your browser to add them. This is usually done by choosing 'Page Setup' from the 'File' menu, or you can check your browser's 'Help' menu to find out how to do this.

How do I access the private client area?
Some information on the site requires a login to a secure client-only area. To access this area you will need to register with us to receive a password.
How secure is any information you hold about me?
The Client Access area of the website uses SSL encryption technology which secures your Login and keeps your information safe. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further information.
Is there any additional security for the private client area?
There is a 30 minute timeout for inactivity. After that time you will need to log in again.
