Transferring your Australian Superannuation comes a step closer
A new agreement on private retirement savings portability between Australia and New Zealand is a step closer following recent announcements from the Australian and New Zealand Governments.
The agreement, that acknowledges the increasingly free-flow of labour across the Tasman, is to be finalised this year with both countries undertaking the necessary steps to allow the transfer of retirement savings between complying Australian superannuation schemes and New Zealand KiwiSaver schemes.
Craigs Investment Partners are inviting Expressions of Interest from anyone wishing to consider the implications of a transfer from Australia. Craigs Investment Partners intends to offer a complimentary Australian Superannuation Transfer Information Service similar to our existing UK Pension Transfer Service. To date this service has facilitated transfers of funds in excess of $25m since its launch in late 2007.

Craigs Investment Partners offers clients wishing to consider any of our superannuation solutions access to our complimentary UK Pension Transfer Information Service. Our experienced UK Pension Transfer specialists investigate the scheme on your behalf, and thereafter our Investment Advisors will help them understand the advantages or disadvantages of transferring their UK Pension to New Zealand.
To begin the process simply complete a Superannuation Transfer Information Request Form (STIRF)
