Cash Management Trust Accepted for Crown Deposit Guarantee Scheme

Craigs Investment Partners Cash Management Trust Limited was approved under the Retail Deposit Guarantee Scheme on Tuesday 25th November 2008.

Craigs Investment Partners Cash Management Trust Limited has been approved as a non-bank deposit taking entity.

The Crown guarantee will, subject to its terms, cover all existing and new debt securities (including deposits) held by New Zealand tax residents or New Zealand citizens for the period from 25 November 2008 until 12 October 2010.

Extended Retail Deposit Guarantee Scheme - Craigs Investment Partners Cash Management Trust Limited has signed the revised Guarantee - Read the Crown Deed of Guarantee (effective from 1 January 2010).

The Crown guarantee has a deposit coverage cap of NZ$1million per depositor which applies to individuals, not on accounts.

The Crown guarantee covers deposits denominated in both New Zealand dollars and foreign currencies. The amount guaranteed will be the foreign currency amount, not the New Zealand dollar equivalent at any point in time. The Crown guarantee covers both the principal amount of the deposit and the interest owed.
