The Craigs Investment Partners Investment Banking team brings together individuals from the multi-award winning ABN AMRO New Zealand Investment Banking team and the largest retail broking business in New Zealand, Craigs Investment Partners.
Individuals in the team have advised on some of New Zealand’s largest and most complex industry-shaping transactions, including the privatisation of Contact Energy and Vector (the two largest New Zealand IPOs in the past 10 years) and the acquisitions of EnviroWaste, MediaWorks and Yellow Pages (the largest leveraged buy-out in New Zealand history).
The team is focused on building long-term strategic partnerships and generating shareholder value through advising public and private mid-cap to large corporates, institutions, and Government bodies in New Zealand.
Craigs Investment Partners originates, structures and executes a full range of investment banking transactions from capital raising activities including initial public offerings, rights issues and placements, to mergers, acquisitions, public company takeovers and takeover defense roles.
When executing these transactions Craigs Investment Partners can access the global resources of its strategic alliance partner, the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, combined with the in-house research, broking and distribution power of its retail broking network, the largest in New Zealand.
