Nigel Scott joined Craigs Investment Partners in 2002 and became an Investment Adviser moving from wholesale to retail, he became a company Director in 2011.

He attended Auckland University for 3 years then entered the share broking industry as a Trading Floor Operator with Paine Belcher & Co from 1984 – 1988. He became one of the youngest members of the New Zealand Stock Exchange at 25 years of age and went on to manage 5 operators whilst being the head of institutional sales. After a brief time at Fay Richwhite he joined BZW NZ (the forerunner to ABN AMRO) as an Institutional Dealer in 1988-2002. During this time he was a Director and traveled extensively through the company’s network promoting New Zealand stocks to offshore fund managers in the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Australia.

After 27 years in the industry Nigel continues to enjoy the changing nature of the markets, his broad range of clients from community trusts, small institutions and large retail portfolios and providing ideas and solutions to help clients achieve their objectives.
