Michael Richardson joined Deutsche Bank in 2008 as Head of Equity Capital Markets for Australia and New Zealand. This role has responsibility for initial public offerings, rights issues, block trades, accelerated bookbuilds and convertible and exchangeable bonds. Michael’s team was responsible for the largest sole bookrunner capital raising in Australia’s corporate history – Stockland’s A$2bn raising in May 2009.

Michael has worked at Merrill Lynch and previously spent nine years in senior ECM roles at Citigroup Australia (and its precedent incarnations Salomon Smith Barney and County Natwest). Prior to his career in investment banking, Michael worked at the Australian Stock Exchange and was a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in Australia.
