David Gibson is co-head of Corporate Finance for New Zealand. This role encompasses responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, client coverage, equity capital markets and loan products.

David is based in Auckland and has been with Deutsche Bank for over 10 years. With more than 14 years in investment banking, David has a broad range of corporate advisory experience leading many of New Zealand’s largest M&A transactions.

David has previously worked at Cameron Partners and Lion Nathan Limited.

David has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Commerce from Canterbury University, an NZX Diploma and is a member of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand.
